Pour le coup elle remplace l'ancien 1.6 VTI de 120 ch d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 en collaboration avec <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">BMW<\/span> \u00e0 l'\u00e9poque. Ce moteur d\u00e9pass\u00e9 aujourd'hui, \u00e9tait affubl\u00e9 d'un malus de 500 \u20ac avec un faible couple \u00e0 bas r\u00e9gime et des consommations trop \u00e9lev\u00e9es de nos jours et trop bruyant \u00e0 haut r\u00e9gime.<br \/>\nM\u00eame si ce moteur est propos\u00e9 est pour 950 \u20ac de plus que l'ancien VTI 120, il est plus \u00e9conome et beaucoup moins cher que les diesels. Un HDI 92 r\u00e9clamera 550 \u20ac de plus \u00e0 l'achat et m\u00eame presque 2000 \u20ac !<\/p>\n<p>A l'\u00e9ssai Citroen C4 e THP 130, le moteur poss\u00e8de un couple g\u00e9n\u00e9reux comparable \u00e0 celui d'un moteur diesel, dont 90 % est disponible entre 1500 et 3000 tr\/min. Il n'est pas n\u00e9cessaire de malmener le levier de vitesse ou de faire ronfler le moteur dans les tours, son souffle emm\u00e8ne la voiture dans de ferme reprise.<br \/>\nDans nos diff\u00e9rents essais nous avons roul\u00e9s sur des kilom\u00e8tres en ville, sur route et sur autoroute, si le constructeur annonce une consommation moyenne norm\u00e9e de 4.8 L aux 100 km et nous avons pu constater un r\u00e9el 7 L aux 100 km, nous sommes dans les m\u00eames \u00e9carts qu'avec le diesel.
