Compacte (3.70 m) et braquant court, l'Adam rayonne en ville, un peu moins aux alentours. Mais elle n'est pas la seule: la Fiat 500 tient moins bien la route et la Mini se montre encore moins confortable.Le syst\u00e8me multim\u00e9dia \u00e0 \u00e9cran tactile agit (tr\u00e8s) \u00e9troitement avec un smartphone: le GPS fonctionne uniquement via une application pour un mobile \u00e0 40 \u20ac.Les places arri\u00e8re conviendront aux petits gabarits, ou serviront d'appoint au coffre taill\u00e9 court&nbsp;: 170 l de volume seulement.Pour 300 \u20ac 64 LED illuminent le pavillon! La sellerie cuir, trop ferme, est d\u00e9conseill\u00e9e. La premi\u00e8re vir\u00e9e au Volant de <a href=\"\/blog\/index.php?tag\/l%20Adam\">l'Adam<\/a>, date de 2001 \u00e0 la sortie de l'<a href=\"\/blog\/index.php?tag\/Opel%20Speedster\">Opel Speedster<\/a>, un cabriolet biplace \u00e0 ch\u00e2ssis alu et moteur central arri\u00e8re. Sur son passage, les t\u00eates se d\u00e9vissent. Bon point pour la marque, en passe de redorer son image \"p\u00e9p\u00e8re\" de s\u00e9rieuses berlines. D'autant que l'enthousiasme du public concerne ici concerne ici un mod\u00e8le abordable: 10 990 \u20ac en premier prix. Pour une Adam craquante, mieux vaut cependant tabler sur 16 000 \u20ac. Un tarif qui n'effraiera pas les clients de<a href=\"\/blog\/index.php?tag\/Fiat%20500\"> Fiat 500<\/a> de <a href=\"\/blog\/index.php?tag\/Citro%C3%ABn%20DS3\">Citro\u00ebn DS3<\/a>, encore moins ceux de <a href=\"\/blog\/index.php?tag\/Mini\">Mini<\/a> ou<a href=\"\/blog\/index.php?tag\/l%20Audi%20A1\"> l'Audi A1<\/a>. Avec l'Adam, Opel entre donc dans le bains des citadines chics, et n'a pas loup\u00e9 son coup: malgr\u00e9 ses ind\u00e9niables inspiration de la concurrence, la ligne est r\u00e9ussie et \u00e9vite le parti n\u00e9or\u00e9tro, si difficile \u00e0 renouveler. M\u00eame constat \u00e0 bord&nbsp;: pas d'illisible compteur central, ni d'inaccessibles boutons type aviation. Ici, l'ergonomie est respect\u00e9e. Les plastiques visibles s\u00e9duisent. Et la disposition de la cellule avant rappelle celui d'une voiture de cat\u00e9gorie sup\u00e9rieure&nbsp;: rangements nombreux et spacieux, place aux jambes et largeur aux coudes g\u00e9n\u00e9reuses, position de conduite id\u00e9ale. Dans 3.70 m de long cependant, pas de miracle: les places arri\u00e8re, limit\u00e9es aux jambes et en garde au toit, serviront surtout de coffre d'appoint \u00e0 la \"vraie\" soute, minuscule (170 litres). Reposant sur une plate-forme de Corsa raccourcie, l'Adam se comporte bien en ville. La direction est douce, le diam\u00e8tre de braquage contenu, la souplesse du moteur agr\u00e9able. M\u00eame le syst\u00e8me Stop&amp;Start, de s\u00e9rie sur cette de 87 ch, ne se fait pas remarquer. Si la commande de bo\u00eete accrochait moins et que la visibilit\u00e9 de trois quarts arri\u00e8re n'\u00e9tait pas alt\u00e9r\u00e9e par la d\u00e9coupe de vitre arri\u00e8re, le bilan urbain f\u00f4lerait le sans-faute. Sur route, l'Adam perd un peu de couleurs. La direction, m\u00eame sans le mode City  qui augmente l'assistance, manque de consistance et de pr\u00e9cision en virage. Les suspensions du ch\u00e2ssis sport  (obligatoire avec l'option jantes de 17 ou 18 pouces) tapent fermement leurs but\u00e9es sur mauvais rev\u00eatement. Le public vis\u00e9 retient surtout les nombreuses personnalisation: 12 teintes de carrosserie, 3 couleurs de toit, 15 motifs de si\u00e8ges, 19 d\u00e9cors int\u00e9rieurs...et 31 mod\u00e8les de jantes sont disponible&nbsp;! Sans oublier le ciel de toit garni de LED, de nuages ou de feuilles d'automne. Un conseil&nbsp;: lors de la commande, pr\u00e9voyez une bonne demi journ\u00e9e... Bilan: Quelques d\u00e9fauts, comme ses rivales (espace arri\u00e8re, confort, aptitudes routi\u00e8res).
