L'offensive Peugeot d\u00e9bute sur la 208, au travers d'un moderne bloc \u00e0 trois cylindres de 82 ch.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Moteur \u00e0 trois cylindres<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Ce bloc \u00e0 trois cylindres en appelle d'autres: 1.0 de 68 ch \u00e0 la rentr\u00e9e, turbo et injection directe en 2014. A force de r\u00e9duire la cylindr\u00e9e de leurs moteurs pour consommer moins, les constructeurs finissent par se renforcer. Et amputer des cylindres entiers! Ainsi, pour ses deux blocs \u00e0 essence d'entr\u00e9e de gamme (1.0 de 68 ch et 1.2 de 82 ch), la r\u00e9cente 208 ne compte que trois cylindres sous le capot. A l'horizon 2014, turbo et injection directe transformeront m\u00eame ces petits\" moulins\" en bijoux de technologie. Seul disponible pour l'heure, le bloc 1.2 de 82 ch nous a livr\u00e9 sa premi\u00e8re prestation.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Agr\u00e9ment de conduite<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Par rapport \u00e0 son anc\u00eatre la 207, la 208 a perdu du poids: 110 kg en moyenne, et m\u00eame 164 kg sur cette version d'entr\u00e9e de gamme. Le poids \u00e0 vide est donc contenu sous la tonne, et aide ce modeste trois cylindres \u00e0 donner des performances suffisantes. En ville, le conducteur est m\u00eame surpris par la souplesse du bougre: les acc\u00e9l\u00e9rations sont puissantes et laisse penser \u00e0 un moteur puissant.Mais une fois en route pas si bien que sa car lors d'un besoin de puissance, les reprises d\u00e9\u00e7oivent et on est oblig\u00e9 d'\u00e9voluer \u00e0 haut r\u00e9gime pour effectuer un d\u00e9passement.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Consommation<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>La sonorit\u00e9 du trois cylindre n'est pas trop pr\u00e9sent dans l'habitacle. Sur autoroute et malgr\u00e9 un \u00e9tagement de la boite assez court ( presque 4000 tr\/min \u00e0 130 km\/h), la 208 1.2 se montre m\u00eame moins bruyante que la version 1.6 VTi de 120 ch.L'ultime bonne surprise provient de la consommation. S'il semble impossible de tenir les 4.5 L aux 100 km annonc\u00e9s, il est envisageable de tabler sur 6.5 L aux 100 km sur parcours mixte, \u00e0 condition de garder le pied l\u00e9ger.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Rapport prix \/ \u00e9quipement<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>C\u00f4t\u00e9 pile, la 208 fait oublier la 207 en mati\u00e8re de pr\u00e9sentation int\u00e9rieur ou d'\u00e9quipement: la qualit\u00e9 de fabrication se montre tr\u00e8s correcte pour la cat\u00e9gorie, et la dotation de s\u00e9rie ne manque de rien d\u00e8s ce premier niveau Active. On retrouve ainsi l'antid\u00e9rapage, la climatisation manuelle, le r\u00e9gulateur de vitesse, sans oublier la prise USB et le kit mains libres Bluetooth.Tous ces \u00e9quipement sont contr\u00f4l\u00e9s depuis l'\u00e9cran tactile, qui n\u00e9cessite un temps d'adaptation mais se montre fonctionnel une fois que les diff\u00e9rents menus sont m\u00e9moriser. La planche de bord de la 208 Active \u00e0 16550\u20ac s\u00e9duit. Le toit vitr\u00e9 panoramique, disponible en option (500 \u20ac) sur cette finition, ne peut s'ouvrir<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Bilan<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Si ce moderne bloc \u00e0 trois cylindres n'est logiquement pas taill\u00e9 pour de r\u00e9gulier trajets autoroutiers, il offre des performances convenables pour une utilisations aux abords des grandes villes. Sa discr\u00e9tion, sa sobri\u00e9t\u00e9 et son tarif font en outre oublier les bruyants diesels: le HDI de 68 ch est affich\u00e9 1100 \u20ac de plus, le HDI 90 2300 \u20ac de plus!
